Prologue!
Visions of destruction and death mosspelt shivered in her nest in the thunderclan medicine cat den jerked awake terrorized by these visions of battles against unknown cats. Mosspelt padded slowly over to the freshkill pile over the other side of the camp thinking about what the visions meant."Are you ok?" the thunderclan leader Snowstar asked her as she walked. She shook the remnants of her dream off "yes I am" she replied and continued walking. Mosspelt looked at the freshkill and chose a plump pigeon. she carried it away and gulped it down in quick bites. Pebblestream, Bramblenose and Ashcloud burst into camp. snowstar pushed her way to the front of the crowd "what is it?" she asked "kittypets are crossing the border" Bramblenose exclaimed "why didn't you push them back into twolegplace?" Snowstar asked "we can't there are to many. They are heading this way."
chapter 1!
Loud yowls of challenges rang out as the warriors challenged the kittypets "why are you in the forest" Stoneshadow caterwauled "get them" a kittypet meowed a heartbeat later the loud screeches of fighting burst Maplepaws ears. Mosspelt ran up to her we need to get into our den and get herbs ready they ran to the den in a crack in the rock. as the kittypets pushed their way into the camp "Maplepaw" Snowstars commanding voice said "go to windclan and get help" "yes Snowstar" she rushed off running through the fighting screeching cats she burst out of camp and ran towards the windclan border as she reached it Maplepaw jumped over the stream. "well well well look what we've got here" Spottedheart the windclan deputies cruel voice sounded behind her "we need help we are being attacked by a huge band of kittypets" "what so now thunderclan can be beat by puny kittypets"Spottedheart remarked "but there are so many of them"Maplepaw mewed. "please help us" "ugh fine we will take you to Redstar and he can decide." "But please go quickly my clan needs help" Maplepaw mewed.
Maplepaw followed Spottedheart into the windclan camp hostile stares towards her as every cat in the camp turned towards her. "Redstar Maplepaw is here to talk with you" "what is it" Redstars rough voice commanded "o-our camp is being attacked by a huge band of well trained kittypets please help us" Maplepaw stammered "fine Spottedheart take six cats with you but go quick".

stoneshadow knocked a huge grey tom off his paws and tried to sink his teeth into his neck but the tom was to fast the grey tom knocked Stoneshadow over and started to claw his belly. A new scent hit Stoneshadows scent glands it was windclan "we have come to help" Stoneshadow recognized Spottedheart the windclan deputies voice. Screeches of defiance burst Stoneshadows ears as the fresh windclan warriors pummeled the kittypet warriors back out into the forest. "Is anyone badly injured" Snowstars voice rang out "just a few scratches" Stoneshadow murmured. Then saw Moonwillow lying in a pool of blood outside the nursery. "Moonwillow" he screeched racing over to his mate "Moonwillow please get up!" Mosspelt rushed over a mouthful of herbs stoneshadow recognized marigold in the pile. "Don't just stand there clean her wounds" Mosspelt snapped Stoneshadow started licking Moonwillows scratches cleansing them of blood, Tasting the metallic tang. Once he was done Mosspelt licked poultice onto her wounds. "we need to move her into my den" "But that will reopen her wounds" Stoneshadow snapped"sorry i didn't mean to snap" he apologized "it's ok" Mosspelt blinked sympathetically at him. Stoneshadow heaved Moonwillow gently onto Mosspelt and Maplepaws shoulders all the while fretting that they may hurt her. Mosspelt and Maplepaw carried Moonwillow to the medicine den and laid her gently on a bed of moss. Moonwillow stirred "Stoneshadow is that you" "it is" she replied in a faint and weak voice"i'm going to hunt with starclan"

Stoneshadow and Bramblenose returned later back to camp laden with prey but Brairpath hadn't returned. Stoneshadow walked to Snowstars den after dumping his prey on the fresh kill pile "Snowstar"he called softly "come in" Snowstar replied. Stoneshadow pushed his way through the hanging bracken and into the den "Snowstar when we were hunting brairpath went of hunting but didn't return at the agreed time" "ok we will wait until tomorrow if she is not back we will send out a search party now go get some rest"

Stoneshadow woke up early and walked out of the den to see the clan gathered under the high ledge he walked over "brairpath has gone missing!" Snowstar exclaimed. worried murmurs spread through the clan "I would like you to go look for her now go" at this the clan rushed out stoneshadow in the lead. Stoneshadow turned of towards where he last saw her. Once he found the spot he scented the air and instantly caught her scent he started to follow it until he came to a spot were the grass had been bent down and a different scent a loner scent leading away overlapping Brairpath's scent leading out of the territory. He followed it out of clan territory crossing over the border and following the scents until nightfall Stoneshadow quickly scraped a nest together and caught a mouse. Stoneshadow devoured it in three quick bites and lay down to sleep

Brairpath trudged slowly along feeling miserable."hurry up" the loner said from behind her "I don't want to be out here for that long with all those other wild animals". A quarter moon had passed since the loner had fought her and now it was night and they were still walking. without as much as a morsel of mouse. Suddenly the bushes rustled the loner gave a squeal of fright and darted of into the night Brairpath backed away slowly as a shape emerged from the shadows it was Stoneshadow "Brairpath i've been looking everywhere for you" Brairpath raced over to him. "Stoneshadow i'm so glad to see you" "I was attacked by a loner who forced me to come find skyclan I didn't believe him but it's true there is a small group of cats just over that hill there" she angled her ears in that direction "who act like a clan. Their leader is called blazestar. They speak to starclan from that cave they call it cave of shining stars-." "slow down please" stoneshadow cut in "ok there is a clan called skyclan that no one knows about" "we should bring them back to the lake" "yes" "then what are we waiting for lets go." they walked cautiously towards the camp a warrior spotted them and came bounding over "what do you want with skyclan" "we are from the Thunderclan about a quarter moons journey from here." the she-cats eyes lit up "we are so close you must come and see Blazestar" she said "oh sorry i forgot to introduce myself my name is lunapelt" Brairpath and Stoneshadow followed her into the camp a fiery colored tom walked out of a den at the head of the clearing "blazestar these cats are from thunderclan" The huge toms eyes sparkled "ever since leafstar left seasons ago we never thought we could get back"he murmured.

"well you could come back with us" Stoneshadow said "that would be delightful" Blazestar replied "lets go Skyclan gather next to my den" he waited for the cats to appear "we have contact with the other clans at last" the cats of skyclan gave exclamations of excitement "we follow them now"

As Stoneshadow and Brairpath led skyclan into the thunderclan camp all the cats turned to stare at them Snowstar pushed her way through the crowd "what is this" she said to Stoneshadow "why have you brought all these rogues here-" "you callin' us rogues huh were the same as you we are SKYCLAN" at this snowstar recoiled a look of shock on her face "b-but how did you find them?' she said "they are our only hope" snowstar murmured something "Sky will clear sky lives will be save with the oncoming sky" "huh" Brairpath said "a prophecy given to us by starclan when you were gone."
